Agreement to These Terms

This page sets out the conditions under which Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Firm”) makes its website (the “Site”) available to you. Whenever you open, browse, or otherwise make use of the Site, you confirm that you accept everything written here. Should any part of these conditions be unacceptable to you, we ask that you refrain from using the Site.

Everything published here exists to inform in a general way. It is not, and should never be treated as, guidance tailored to your particular circumstances. Reading these pages or reaching out through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. When you need advice about a specific legal matter, speak directly with a licensed attorney who can review the facts of your situation.

Ownership of Site Content

The text, graphics, layout, and other materials appearing on the Site belong to Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC or to the parties who license that material to us. Except for the limited permissions described below, every right in that content is retained by its owner.

What You May Do

You are welcome to look at the Site, allow your browser to cache its pages, and print individual pages for your own private, non-commercial reference. That permission is subject to the limits described throughout these conditions.

What You May Not Do

  • Post our content again anywhere else, including on any other website.
  • Offer our content for sale, hire it out, or grant others a sublicense to it.
  • Copy, reproduce, or otherwise use any material from the Site to make money.
  • Alter or adapt any material found on the Site.
  • Circulate our content further, unless a particular item has been clearly released for that purpose.

Using the Site Responsibly

Do not interact with the Site in any manner that harms it, degrades its performance, or interferes with the ability of others to reach it. Likewise, do not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful, dishonest, or damaging, or in support of any such activity.

The Site must never be used to store, carry, publish, or spread any material that contains or links to viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, keystroke loggers, rootkits, or any comparable harmful code.

Areas With Limited Access

Some portions of the Site are not open to every visitor, and Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC may choose to close off additional portions, or the whole Site, at its discretion. If we issue you credentials such as a username and password to reach a restricted portion, you are responsible for keeping those credentials private. We may deactivate any credentials we have issued, at any time and without giving a reason.

Material You Submit

“Submitted material” refers to anything you send to the Site, of any kind, whether text, images, sound, video, or a combination of these.

By sending us submitted material, you give Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC a permanent, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use, copy, modify, publish, translate, and share that material across any medium now in use or developed later, along with the right to pass those permissions on to others and to enforce them.

Your submitted material must be lawful, must not violate anyone else’s rights, and must not expose you, the Firm, or any third party to legal action. You must not send us anything that has been, or is currently, the subject of a legal complaint or dispute. We reserve the right to change, take down, or refuse to publish anything submitted to or held on the Site.

No Guarantees

The Site is offered on an “as is” basis, with no promises of any kind, whether stated openly or implied. Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC makes no assurances about the Site or the material it contains. In particular, we do not promise that the Site will always be reachable, and we do not promise that its content is complete, correct, accurate, or free of anything misleading. Nothing on the Site is intended to serve as legal advice.

Limits on Our Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC will not be answerable to you, under contract, tort, or any other legal theory, in connection with the Site:

  • for any direct loss, given that the Site is furnished at no charge;
  • for any indirect, special, or knock-on loss; or
  • for any business loss, including lost revenue, income, profit, expected savings, contracts, relationships, goodwill, reputation, or the loss or corruption of data.

These limits hold even where we were told such a loss might occur.

What These Limits Do Not Cover

Nothing here removes or narrows any protection the law requires us to provide, and nothing here limits our responsibility for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, for our own fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Your Duty to Cover Our Losses

You agree to cover and hold Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC harmless against any loss, damage, cost, liability, or expense, including legal fees and any sum we pay to settle a claim on the advice of our lawyers, that we incur because you broke any part of these conditions or because someone alleges that you did.

When These Terms Are Broken

Without giving up any of our other rights, if you breach these conditions we may respond in whatever way we judge suitable. That may include suspending or ending your access to the Site, blocking your IP address, asking your internet provider to cut off your access, or pursuing the matter in court.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these conditions from time to time. An updated version takes effect for your use of the Site as soon as it is posted here. Please revisit this page periodically so you are aware of the current version.

Transferring Rights

Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC may assign, subcontract, or otherwise deal with its rights and duties under these conditions without asking you or telling you. You may not do the same with your own rights or duties.

If Part of These Terms Fails

Should a court or other authority rule that any provision here is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. If striking part of a provision would make the rest valid, that part is treated as removed and the remainder continues to apply.

The Whole Agreement

These conditions, read together with our Privacy Policy, form the complete agreement between you and Stonebridge Legal Group, LLC regarding your use of the Site, and they replace any earlier understanding on that subject.

Governing Law

These conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Wyoming, and any dispute arising from them falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Wyoming.
